Masterclass Held at UWED on Harmonizing Natural Law Principles in the Field of Artificial Intelligence Technology

On September 28, 2026, a masterclass titled "Artificial Womb Technology and Artificial Intelligence: Harmonizing Reproductive Autonomy, Technological Progress, and Natural Law Principles" was organized for third-year students within the framework of the International Law curriculum. The session was conducted by N. Nugmanov, Professor at the Department of International Law and Public Law Disciplines at UWED, and Pyali Chatterjee, Associate Professor and Head of the Department (HOD) at MATS Law School, MATS University (Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India).

The expert lecture provided a comprehensive analysis of the legal, ethical, and international aspects associated with the use of artificial womb technologies (ectogenesis) and artificial intelligence.

The expert highlighted the shifting traditional concepts regarding motherhood, the protection of human rights, and the boundaries of ethical acceptability for modern biotechnologies. At the conclusion of the event, students received answers to their questions and exchanged views.
