A festive event titled “Woman – the Blossom of Life” dedicated to International Women’s Day on March 8 was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. The event was attended by the university administration, faculty members, students, and invited guests.

During the event, a video highlighting the role and significance of women in society was presented. The program featured musical performances by Dilnura Khayrullayeva, a student of the academic lyceum under UWED, as well as Azamat Usmanov and Aziz Umarxon, students of the Botir Zokirov National Institute of Estrada Art. National and international dance performances were also presented. Faxriddin Davronov, a student of the Faculty of International Economics and Management, performed a live guitar piece.

At the end of the event, active female students from all faculties were awarded. The award ceremony was conducted by E’tibor Sidikovna Sultanova, Chair of the UWED Women’s Advisory Council, Advisor to the Rector, Professor, and Doctor of Political Sciences.

The event served to express respect and appreciation for women, recognize their important role in society, and further strengthen the cultural and educational environment among students.
