A spiritual and educational event titled “Peace is the Highest Good” was held at UWED

On September 28, 2026, a spiritual, educational, and preventive event was organized for the student youth at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The event was dedicated to the theme "Peace is the Highest Good," during which special attention was paid to ensuring peace and tranquility in our country, strengthening stability in society, cultivating a healthy spiritual environment among young people, promoting religious tolerance and interethnic harmony, as well as preventing the spread of various alien ideas and ideological threats.

Abdugaffor Asatullaevich Kayumov, Chief Specialist of the Tashkent City Territorial Department of the Committee for Religious Affairs for the Mirzo-Ulugbek District, participated in the event as the keynote speaker. The specialist explained to the participants the role of peace and tranquility in the lives of individuals and society, the significance of religious tolerance, the importance of protecting young people from the influence of various harmful and alien ideas, and the need to cultivate a critical and conscious attitude toward various destructive materials in the information space.

During the meeting, the specialist provided detailed answers to the students' questions on the topic, as well as relevant recommendations for preventing existing problems and conducting systematic preventive and awareness-raising work with young people.

This event served as an important part of the preventive work aimed at increasing the legal and spiritual knowledge of the students, fostering a value-based attitude toward peace and tranquility, strengthening their sense of involvement in the social processes of society, building ideological immunity to various ideological threats, and developing a healthy worldview.

Following the event, it was decided to regularly continue conducting spiritual, educational, and preventive activities among the university's students in this direction, to widely promote the ideas of peace and tolerance, and to strengthen awareness-raising efforts aimed at preventing youth from falling under the influence of various alien ideas.
