The first master class on “Soft Power Diplomacy” was held at UWED

In order to convey to students the essence and significance of the “National Program” emphasized in the speech of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of state independence, to widely promote its significance, as well as to expand the socio-political and spiritual horizons of young people, a master class on the topic “Soft Power Diplomacy” was organized on September 25 at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The event was organized by Associate Professor of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Shahnoza Amirova and was successfully held as the inaugural training course of master classes in this field.

During the training course, participants were provided with information on the concept of “soft power diplomacy”, its role and significance in modern international relations, as well as modern approaches to its effective use in diplomatic activities.

Theoretical knowledge was harmoniously combined with practical exercises, open discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, which ensured the active participation of students. This allowed participants to reinforce their knowledge in practice, familiarize themselves with new approaches, and exchange experiences.

The organization of this master class is important not only in terms of acquiring new knowledge but also for exchanging experiences among students, developing professional communication skills, and popularizing modern educational approaches.

This initiative, implemented as part of Sh. Amirova's master classes, will serve to further improve educational and practical sessions, develop students' professional competencies, and widely popularize best practices in the future.

The successful completion of the inaugural training course has created an important foundation for the consistent continuation of work in this direction. In the future, it is planned to hold master classes twice a month.

For university students, such master classes serve as an effective tool for professional development, experience exchange, and the implementation of new ideas in the educational process.
