University Stage of the “Zakovat” Tournament Held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy

On 19 September of this year, the university stage of the “Zakovat” intellectual game was held among students at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

A total of 450 teams from all faculties and academic years of the university registered for the competition. This figure testifies to the students' strong interest in demonstrating their intellectual potential and putting their knowledge and reasoning to the test.

The event was opened by Aziz Qurbonov, Head of the University's Five Important Initiatives Centre. In his address, he emphasized the significant role such intellectual games play in broadening the spiritual and educational outlook of young people, in helping them spend their free time meaningfully, and in strengthening their interest in science and learning.

The game was organized stage by stage in accordance with the established regulations. Answering questions in the fields of history, political science, economics, international relations, literature and general knowledge, the teams demonstrated their knowledge, logical thinking and teamwork skills.

The teams that took the winning and prize-winning places at the university stage were awarded by the university.

The event was held in an atmosphere of high spirits and active participation among the students.
