One Homeland, One People — Together We Create a Great Future!

On September 17 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, under the theme “One Homeland, One People — Together We Create a Great Future!”

As part of the event, a meaningful and sincere conversation entitled “The Blessing of Independence — The Value of the Homeland and Creativity” was held with Bahodir Jalolov, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan, Academician of the Academies of Arts of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, and laureate of the Alisher Navoi State Prize of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Galina Melnikova, People’s Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan; and Professor E’tibor Sultonova.

During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the significance of independence in human life, the opportunities created for creative activities, the development of national art and culture, and the role of spiritual values in society.

The distinguished representatives of the arts shared their rich life and creative experiences, emphasizing the important role of art in enriching the human mind and soul, strengthening love for the Motherland, and fostering a sense of national identity.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of creativity, continuous learning, knowledge and spiritual development in the lives of young people. Students actively participated in the discussion, addressed their questions to the guests and engaged in a meaningful exchange of views.

As part of the event, the winners of the “The Great Sons of My Motherland” essay competition and the “How I See My Motherland” drawing competition were awarded. The competitions were organized to encourage students’ creative potential and strengthen their interest in national history and spiritual values.

The event contributed to the development of students’ creative abilities, increased their interest in national history and culture, strengthened their sense of connection to the Motherland, and inspired the younger generation to make a worthy contribution to the development of our country.
