First Scientific and Methodological Seminar of the New Academic Year Held at the Faculty of International Law

The Faculty of International Law of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy successfully held its first scientific and methodological seminar of the 2026/2027 academic year.

During the seminar, Serikbek Muratayev, Candidate of Legal Sciences and Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of International Law, delivered a scholarly presentation on “The Relationship Between the Theories of Natural Law and Positive Law.”

The presentation examined the interrelationship between natural and positive law theories, their role in contemporary legal thought, and their practical significance from a scientific and methodological perspective.

The seminar also featured a discussion among faculty members on current academic perspectives and theoretical conclusions related to the Theory of State and Law, History of State and Law, Constitutional Law, and Administrative Law.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants exchanged views on the topic and shared suggestions aimed at further developing and improving scientific and methodological approaches.
