On April 2, 2026, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), the language internship conducted within the framework of the student exchange agreement with the University of Salento (Italy) has been successfully completed.

The program consisted of an intensive course that included both theoretical and practical classes aimed at advancing students’ language proficiency, as well as developing their written and spoken communication skills. From March 2 to April 1 of the current year, four Italian students, with great interest, studied not only the Russian language but also gained knowledge about Uzbek culture, traditions, and art.

This exchange program provides an opportunity for students to strengthen their language skills in practice, as well as to explore different cultures and gain international experience. Furthermore, the program contributes to the development of sustainable and long-term academic cooperation between the universities.

During the certificate award ceremony held at UWED, the importance of this exchange was particularly emphasized. Through this program, not only were the students’ Russian language skills enhanced, but scientific and cultural ties between the universities of Uzbekistan and Italy were also strengthened, and prospects for future cooperation were further expanded.
