Success of a UWED Student at The International Financial Security Olympiad

The University of World Economy and Diplomacy continues to strengthen its position within the system of training highly qualified specialists in the field of international law, as reflected in the consistently high level of research and olympiad preparedness demonstrated by its student community. A further confirmation of the effectiveness of the university's educational and scientific policy is the achievement of Asilbek Bahromovich Aliyev, a second-year student of the Faculty of International Law, who successfully participated in the International Financial Security Olympiad in the "Jurisprudence" track and secured third place.

The student's preparation for the Olympiad was carried out under the academic supervision of Naubakhar Uzakbaeva, a lecturer at the Department of International Law and Public Law Disciplines, whose high professionalism and systematic approach to organizing scientific and methodological work with students once again contributed to a significant achievement at the international level.

The International Financial Security Olympiad is a prestigious scientific and educational platform bringing together talented young people from various countries, offering participants the opportunity to demonstrate their theoretical knowledge, analytical thinking, and practical skills in the legal regulation of financial security, combating the legalization of proceeds obtained through criminal means, and ensuring the transparency and stability of national and international financial systems. Participation in such intellectual competitions requires not only in-depth knowledge of international and domestic law but also the ability to apply it to complex, practice-oriented problems — a capability fully demonstrated by our university's student.

Having successfully completed the qualifying stage, Asilbek Aliyev earned the right to participate in the final round of the Olympiad, to be held in the Russian Federation in September of this year. This achievement represents not only a personal success for the student and his academic supervisor but also a substantial contribution to strengthening the international scientific reputation of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, as well as evidence of the effectiveness of the university's policy of supporting talented youth and engaging them in the international scientific and educational space.
