UWED and Nagoya University of Economics Discuss the Implementation of a Dual Degree Program

On 8 July of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted a meeting with Mr. Haruo Saburi, President of the Nagoya University of Economics (Japan).
The main focus of the meeting was preparations for the launch of a joint dual degree program in the upcoming academic year. The parties discussed finalizing the curriculum, selecting students, organizing Japanese language instruction, and engaging Japanese faculty members to deliver lectures and master classes.
Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information Technology (IT), and Data Science. The parties also explored opportunities for organizing student internships at leading Japanese companies and facilitating graduate employment.
In addition, the participants exchanged views on the development of Executive Education and MBA programs, expressing mutual interest in further expanding academic cooperation in these areas.
At the conclusion of the meeting, UWED and the Nagoya University of Economics reaffirmed their commitment to the successful implementation of the joint dual degree program and agreed to continue working together to develop new areas of cooperation in education, research, and professional training.
