The University of World Economy and Diplomacy continues to consistently expand its international cooperation, develop the French language competencies of students and faculty members, and broaden opportunities for academic mobility.

As the next practical stage in this area, an academic internship programme has begun for UWED students and faculty members within the framework of cooperation with the Institut de la Francophonie, located in Nice, France.

A total of 28 students and 3 faculty members of the university are participating in the programme. The academic internship officially began on 6 July 2026. During the first days of the programme, introductory and adaptation activities were organised for the participants.

During the initial sessions, the administration and faculty members of the Institut de la Francophonie provided the participants with detailed information about the institute’s activities, the educational process, teaching methodology, academic requirements, and the content of the programme. UWED representatives were also introduced to the institute’s team and received the necessary guidance regarding the educational and cultural programmes planned for the coming weeks.

This academic internship programme provides participants with an opportunity to further develop their communicative competence in French, gain experience in an international academic environment, and become closely acquainted with the educational and cultural life of France. The signing of a memorandum between the parties is also envisaged within the framework of this cooperation.

Throughout the programme, theoretical and practical classes, cultural and educational events, as well as meetings aimed at strengthening international academic cooperation are planned.
