The University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) is pleased to announce the publication of the new international academic volume Bridges Across Borders: Dynamics of Central Eurasian Migration to Australia, Japan, and Northern Europe, co-edited by Professor Timur Dadabaev, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at UWED, together with Professor Shigeto Sonoda (The University of Tokyo) and Professor Kirill Nourzhanov (The Australian National University).
Published by Springer Nature, the volume brings together scholars from leading universities and research institutions across Asia, Europe, Australia, and Central Asia to examine contemporary migration processes, mobility patterns, diaspora communities, student mobility, gender, digital activism, and social transformation in Central Eurasia.
The publication reflects the growing international research collaboration between UWED and its partners, including Lund University (Sweden), the University of Tokyo (Japan), the Australian National University (Australia), the University of Tsukuba (Japan), and other institutions represented in the volume.
The book highlights how Central Eurasia is increasingly becoming a space of international connectivity, knowledge exchange, and global interaction, contributing to broader discussions on migration, development, and international cooperation.
