“IT Zakovat” intellectual game was held at UWED

On May 23, of this year, the “IT Zakovat” intellectual game aimed at developing students’ knowledge in information technology, logical thinking, and modern innovations was successfully organized at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED).

During the opening ceremony, Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation and Economic Affairs, Muzaffar Mukhitdinovich Djalalov delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of increasing young people’s interest in IT, artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and innovative thinking. He also noted that such intellectual projects contribute to developing students’ intellectual potential, strengthening teamwork skills, and broadening their understanding of modern technologies.

More than 100 students actively participated in the competition. Alongside the students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the team from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies was invited as a guest participant and also actively took part in the event, demonstrating their knowledge and intellectual abilities.

During the “IT Zakovat” competition, participants competed in questions related to programming, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, technological innovations, internet culture, and logical reasoning. The teams demonstrated a high level of knowledge, quick thinking, and strong teamwork skills. According to the final results, the “Intellect” team won 1st place, the “CTRL C CTRL V” team took 2nd place, and the “Everest” team secured 3rd place.

The event was organized in an engaging and interactive atmosphere, contributing to the development of healthy competition among students. At the end of the event, the winners and prize holders were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts.

The “IT Zakovat” intellectual game became an important step toward increasing young people’s interest in information technologies, promoting creative and independent thinking, and strengthening cooperation and a friendly environment between universities.
