On October 14 of this year, a round table and a psychological training seminar on the topics “Consequences of early marriage, its psychological significance” and “The path to a happy life” were organized at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy within the framework of the “Mental Health” week.
Opening the events, the head of the Center for Five Important Initiatives of the UWED Sh. Shakirova noted that special attention is paid in our country to strengthening the institution of the family, increasing its authority, improving the legal framework, preventing early marriages and the birth of healthy children, as well as the consequences of early marriage. In her speech, Sh. Shakirova stressed that it is necessary to pay more attention to young men and women when creating a family, as well as the purpose of the work carried out in our country to strengthen marital relations, prevent negative phenomena in family life, form a healthy atmosphere in the family, bring up a harmoniously developed generation is to create a healthy and strong family.
At the organized psychological training seminar, UWED psychologist N. Norova provided information and recommendations that mental health is manifested in positive activity of a high level of mental and physical state of a person, that is, in a good mood, manifestation of joyful feelings, and depends on a healthy lifestyle of a person.
The psychologist provided the students with information about the psychological consequences of early marriage, and the students actively participated, giving their opinions on the topic.
During the psychological training seminar, students analyzed psychodiagnostic states through exercises that develop psychological processes, and techniques for feeling happy. Recommendations were made. Motivational classes increased the activity and mood of students.
At the training seminar, students received information about the negative consequences of early marriages, psychological readiness and family responsibility.
