UWED Students Successfully Participated in an International Youth Quest

On May 3, 2026, the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a youth quest titled “Дом, где живёт Россия” (“The Home Where Russia Lives”) at the Mirzo Ulugbek Central Park in Tashkent.

The main objective of the project was to promote intercultural dialogue, broaden students’ perspectives, and unite active young people. The event was held in a modern interactive format characterized by dynamic collaboration, intense team competitions, and a spirit of friendly rivalry.

A total of 12 student teams participated in the competition, including two teams representing UWED, which достойно defended the honor of the university. Following exciting and intense rounds, the UWED teams demonstrated strong intellectual potential, solidarity, and teamwork, winning two prize places. In particular, the team “Поколение чудес” (“Generation of Wonders”) took second place, while the team “Любимчики декана” (“Dean’s Favorites”) secured third place.

First-year students of the Faculty of International Law — Salohiddin Madatov, Hulkar Abdullayeva, Shohijaxon Hamidov, and Qudrat Tolipov — made a significant contribution to the teams’ success. In individual performances, they demonstrated profound knowledge of the Russian language, Russian history, and culture, and were awarded second place in a special nomination.
