    Master Class on International Transport Law

    On April 29 of the current year, a master class entitled “Transport System of Uzbekistan and Foreign Experience” was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy for master’s students majoring in “International Business Law” within the framework of the course “International Transport Law”.

    The master class was organized by Masadikov Sherzodbek, Head of the Department of Civil Law and Private International Law Disciplines, Professor Imamova Dilfuza, and trainee teacher of the same department, Sa’dullayeva Rushana.

    Abdurahmon Bakhtiyev, Deputy Hokim of Tashkent City for Transport and Road Infrastructure, was invited as a guest speaker for the master class.

    During the event, Abdurahmon Bakhtiyev highlighted issues related to traffic management, introduced the activities of the Traffic Management Center, and spoke about the implementation of advanced foreign practices in the capital city. Particular attention was paid to the developed master plan for traffic regulation, measures aimed at reducing traffic congestion and road accidents, the development of mobile services, the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, as well as the construction of BRT corridors.

    The master’s students demonstrated strong interest in the topic under discussion, actively participated in the discussions, asked various questions, and received comprehensive and well-reasoned answers.

    The organization of this master class directly contributes to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 17 “Partnerships for the Goals,” particularly target 17.6, which focuses on strengthening international cooperation in science, technology, and innovation.

    The master class became a significant contribution to the development of academic dialogue, strengthening cooperation between theory and practice, and improving the educational process.
