    Young Researchers' Forum Held at UWED

    On May 7, 2026, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the Young Researchers' Forum on the topic “A Youth Perspective on Reforms in the Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

    The forum aimed to develop the academic and analytical potential of young people, actively involve them in the country's ongoing reforms, and generate practical proposals for the years 2026–2030.

    The event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the “El-Yurt Umidi” Foundation, the Academy of Public Administration, the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies, the Youth Affairs Agency, the International Institute for Central Asia, and the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education.

    The participants of the forum included students and young researchers from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent State University of Law, Westminster International University in Tashkent, the University of Public Security, and other educational and research institutions.

    During the forum, young researchers presented their analytical studies and proposals on topics such as judicial and legal reforms, ensuring the rule of law, mandatory pre-trial mediation, the transformation of Uzbekistan's foreign policy, the country's accession to the World Trade Organization, the development of the transport and logistics system, labor migration, and other relevant areas.

    This forum provided an effective platform for dialogue among young people, experts, and representatives of government agencies.
