The University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) signed a Memorandum of Understanding, as well as a cooperation agreement on the organization of student internships, on January 23, 2025. This cooperation aims to strengthen bilateral relations, expand international experience opportunities for students, and develop professional skills on a global scale.

Within the framework of this cooperation, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of International Relations at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Yo‘ldashaliyev Xusanboy, successfully completed a paid prestigious internship at the Department of Institutional Relations, Cooperation and Advocacy of the United Nations World Tourism Organization from April 1 to April 30.

During the internship, he actively participated in processes aimed at developing international cooperation, strengthening inter-organizational relations, and supporting and implementing global initiatives in the tourism sector. The student demonstrated initiative, a responsible approach, and strong professional skills, earning the attention of the international team.

At the end of the program, Yo‘ldashaliyev Xusanboy was received by the Secretary-General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, Shaikha Al Nowais, where he was awarded a certificate for successfully completing the internship program.
