As part of global educational initiatives, a delegation from the Department of Oriental Languages at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) visited Specialized School No. 24 in Tashkent.

The workshop on SDG 13 (Climate Action) was organized by the Head of the Department and Persian language instructor, Gulnoza Sh. Husainova.

The program for ninth-graders included an interactive lecture on pressing environmental challenges, from air pollution to waste management strategies. Special attention was given to international practices, with students being shown effective waste sorting and recycling systems from various countries. The students learned how other nations address waste disposal and how this experience could be applied in our own country.

The event was an important step toward implementing the Sustainable Development Goals and fostering environmental awareness.
