    On April 21 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a master class on the “Features of the Tehran Dialect”. The class was conducted by Nodir Nuritdinovich Rakhmatullayev, an Iranologist, senior lecturer at the Higher School of Iranian and Afghan Studies at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, and a doctoral student at the Higher School of Turkology.

    The attendees were third-year students from the Faculty of International Law.  The event's program was designed to reinforce theoretical knowledge through a detailed analysis of the phonetic, lexical, and grammatical characteristics of the Tehran dialect, as well as to provide an in-depth study of its linguistic specifics.

    During the event, the lecturer highlighted such aspects as the differences between literary Persian and the Tehran dialect, the factors shaping their formation, and the influence of the socio-cultural environment on language development. The expert identified key changes in phonetics and grammar and presented a range of specific vocabulary and expressions essential for successful communication.

    The participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the guest expert for the insightful presentation and unique practical experience. The event generated lively interest among the audience and marked an important step in enhancing the language training of future specialists.
