Within the framework of the event dedicated to the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the state of Utah (USA), the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva and the First Deputy Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Sodyq Safoev met with a delegation led by the Chairperson of the Senate of this state Stuart Adams.

 During the dialogue, it was emphasized that in recent years, relations between Uzbekistan and Utah have been consistently developing, reaching a new level in such areas as inter-parliamentary relations, education, economy, healthcare, humanitarian cooperation and building up human capital.

The parties noted that the partnership between the state of Utah and Uzbekistan is filled with solid practical content. In particular, representatives of the state of Utah regularly visit Uzbekistan. Interest in expanding bilateral ties is growing steadily. Partnerships between educational institutions, the business community and civil society organizations are also being strengthened.

 At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand mutual cooperation, institutionally strengthen the established ties and continue the dialogue in order to implement joint projects.
