On April 1 of the current year, members of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis held a meeting with first-year students of the “International Relations” faculty of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

At the meeting, UWED students received detailed information about the large-scale reforms being implemented in our country in the field of state youth policy, the essence of newly adopted laws, as well as the activities of the Legislative Chamber.

In addition, information was provided about the activities of political party factions, committees, the Youth Affairs Commission of the Legislative Chamber, and the Youth Parliament.

During the dialogue, which took place in an open and sincere atmosphere, the students - particularly the first-year students of the “International Relations” faculty of UWED - gained deep knowledge and skills on such important matters as drafting law projects, their initial review, preparing them for the first and second readings, and submitting them for discussion at plenary sessions.

At the meeting, all questions of interest to the youth were thoroughly answered by the deputies.

On the same day, the students also became acquainted with notable facilities of the Legislative Chamber, including the museum reflecting the history of the Oliy Majlis, the parliamentary library, and the large hall where laws are adopted.
