On March 26, 2026, the UWED Department of Oriental Languages hosted a master class on the topic “Developing Oral Skills in Arabic”.

The special guest of the event was Dr. Said Ahmad Al-Habashi (PhD), a lecturer at the Sheikh Zayed Center for Teaching Arabic at Al-Azhar University (Egypt).

The session, held remotely on the Zoom platform, focused on integrating modern educational technologies into the learning process. The master class program covered a wide range of practical topics, from effective methods for developing conversational skills to the subtleties of acquiring authentic pronunciation. Special emphasis was placed on fostering students' ability to communicate freely and confidently in Arabic in various communicative situations.

A key component of the session was a question-and-answer period where students had the opportunity to ask their questions. The invited professor's insightful answers provided participants with valuable practical guidance and a powerful incentive for the in-depth study of the subject.
