On March 19, 2026, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted a master class by Professor Ramakant Dvivedi, Director of the Center for International Management Studies of India, on the topic “Language as a Mirror of Culture”. The event was attended by 2nd and 3rd-year students studying the Hindi language.

The master class focused on language as the primary tool for communication, cognition, and cultural preservation. During the session, Professor Dvivedi introduced students to the history of the Indian language, emphasizing its communicative, cultural, and cognitive roles in today’s digital world. Students recited poems by prominent Indian poets in Hindi, demonstrating the importance of a respectful and diligent approach to the language they are studying.

The discussion concluded that language serves as a carrier and transmitter of national values across generations, shaping speech ethics in professional activities. The event ended with an interactive poll, which showed high audience engagement and the practical utility of the material. In the closing remarks, participants reaffirmed the necessity of learning a second foreign language for a successful future career.
