In order to ensure the implementation of Clause 31.5 of the National Program of Comprehensive Practical Actions for 2025–2026 aimed at the early prevention of drug addiction and drug-related crimes, approved by Annex 1 of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-207 dated November 3, 2025, a number of practical events are being carried out nationwide.

In accordance with this clause, a stage performance competition under the slogan “Drug Addiction — The Downfall of Life” was organized among higher education institutions. The goal of the competition was to effectively utilize the potential of student theater studios to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people and to artistically highlight the tragic consequences of drug addiction.

 In this competition among higher education institutions, the “Diplomat” theater team of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy demonstrated high professionalism, creativity, and a deep portrayal of a pressing social issue, earning them an honorable first place.

The team’s performance titled “Sarob” vividly illustrated the negative impact of drug addiction on an individual’s life, future, and loved ones through powerful artistic expression. The play revealed how young people may take the wrong path, the severe consequences of such choices, tragic outcomes, and the serious danger this issue poses to society. This achievement plays an important role in enhancing students’ creative engagement, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and further increasing the effectiveness of cultural and educational activities.
