On January 21 of this year, a meeting was held at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan B. Ashrafkhanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Sweden R. Nurimbetov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Malaysia K. Gadoev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kyrgyz Republic S. Niyazkhodjaev.

At the event, experienced diplomats provided detailed information on modern international relations, the role of effective diplomacy in ensuring peace and stability, priority areas of Uzbekistan's foreign policy and practical aspects of ambassadorial activities. Based on their many years of professional experience, the ambassadors shared important aspects of diplomatic negotiations, international cooperation, and the development of cultural and economic ties.

Also, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 3, 2020 No PP-4910 “On measures to improve the system for selecting talented youth and the activities of academic lyceums”, 5 students of the Academic Lyceum were awarded the scholarship “Pride of our Academic Lyceum” for taking places of honor at the III (city) stage of the Main Subject Olympiad in Tashkent and received their awards from the hands of honored guests.
