UWED students implemented the educational project “A national product advertisement day”

Annual educational project «A national product advertisement day» was held by the English language department at the UWED. The event brought together the first-year students, teachers and invited guests.
During the event, students presented their own posters and products presenting national culture. The topics addressed - «A national new year tree», «National sweeties», «A national burger», «National juice» and «A national online game», “National jewelry” and etc. Each group made a speech on their product’s logo, slogan and then presented its findings in English.
Special attention was paid to the contribution of young people in the implementation of «UN sustainable development goals», especially SDG 17 “Partnerships for the goals”. Students prepared unique designs and made practical proposals on promoting their product and gave reasons.
The guests of the event noted the high level of preparation of participants, the variety of ideas presented the importance of such initiatives for forming an culturally conscious generation. «A national product advertisement day» has become not only a platform for knowledge sharing, but also an inspiring example of how students can influence the international communication patriotically.
