On December 20, 2025, an open dialogue meeting on the topic "Leader and Youth" was organized in the student dormitory of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in order to further improve the system of working with youth, increase the social activity of students and study their problems and proposals directly on the spot. This event was significant as it was aimed at strengthening mutual trust, openness and sincere dialogue between students and university administration.

The main purpose of the meeting was to familiarize students with the large-scale reforms carried out in the life of the university and society, the processes of modernization of the higher education system, the opportunities created for young people, as well as plans for the near and long term. In addition, the meeting was aimed at creating an effective dialogue platform by listening to the opinions, suggestions and initiatives of students.

The event was actively attended by the First Vice-Rector of the University for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work O. Yusupzhanov, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations M. Abdullayeva, Manager of the Student Dormitory A. Khakimov, responsible employees of relevant departments and services, as well as students.

During the meeting, O. Yusupzhanov held an open and free dialogue with young people, in his speech he dwelt in detail on the priority areas of the state youth policy pursued in our country, reforms carried out in the field of higher education, conditions created for obtaining knowledge, social activity and personal development of students. He also stressed the importance of increasing the knowledge and potential of students, constant work on themselves and a dedicated attitude to the chosen profession.

In addition, he called on young people to show initiative, responsibility and active citizenship, actively participate in social, cultural, spiritual and sports events of the university. It was noted that when working with students, it is always necessary to take into account their opinions and initiatives, carefully study each proposal.

During the meeting, students raised a number of topical issues. In particular, proposals were made to further improve living conditions in the student dormitory, expand household amenities, improve the quality of Internet connection, effectively organize the educational process, as well as increase the number of cultural, spiritual and sports events. At the same time, important ideas were put forward to attract young people to various creative, intellectual and educational projects, to intensify the activities of circles and clubs.

The university administration carefully listened to all the proposals and comments made by students, and set specific tasks for the relevant officials for their phased implementation. It was also emphasized that the establishment of a constant and systematic dialogue with students, the study and prompt solution of their problems directly on the spot, the support of youth initiatives are among the important priorities of the university.

This meeting played an important role in increasing the social activity of young people, listening to and supporting their opinions, and further improving the system of working with students.
