Birthday of the Korean alphabet at UWED

On November 26 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted an annual event dedicated to the birthday of the Korean alphabet.
The event brought together over 60 participants of different ages, including students of secondary school No 71.
Studying the features of the Korean writing, the participants of the event had the opportunity to get acquainted with the history of the creation of the Hangul alphabet (한글날). And also, they will get in touch with one of the most important aspects of everyday life in South Korea - the history of the national traditional costume hanbok (한복).
Such initiatives promote intercultural interaction and increase tolerance for cultural, religious and linguistic diversity.
