On November 28 of this year, an interactive lecture on “Digital Security and Cyberlaw: Legal Regulation and Ethical Criteria” was held for students residing in the UWED student dormitory. The lecture was organized by A. Khallakova, a lecturer in the Department of International Law and Public Law Disciplines, together with A. Nasimjjnov, the course coordinator.

The lecture addressed important issues such as digital threats students may face in the era of modern information technology, methods for preventing cybercrime, mechanisms for reliable protection of personal data, as well as the role of legal regulation in cyberspace in Uzbekistan and international practice. Furthermore, A. Khallakova cited national and international legal regulations in this area as a source and legal basis and explained them in detail.

During the interactive lecture, students received detailed answers to their questions from experts. The event, organized in a student dormitory, not only enriched the young people's legal knowledge but also contributed to their development as responsible and safe digital citizens.
