Cooperation Meeting Between UWED Faculty and Mahalla Community

The faculty members of the “International Relations” Department at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy held a meeting at the “Yangi Olmachi” Citizens’ Assembly of Mirzo-Ulugbek district, assigned to UWED, dedicated to explaining the essence and significance of the large-scale reforms being implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the event, detailed information was presented regarding the priority areas of political, economic, social, and spiritual reforms currently underway in the country, their practical outcomes, and the measures aimed at improving public welfare. The meeting also included discussions on the core principles of the New Uzbekistan’s development, the modernization of public administration, the priority of human value and interests, youth policy, support for entrepreneurship, as well as initiatives promoting justice and transparency.
Residents of the mahalla raised questions about the impact of the reforms on daily life, new opportunities, and social support mechanisms. The faculty members provided comprehensive answers to these inquiries. The meeting also contributed to enhancing the socio-political engagement of citizens and strengthening their sense of involvement in the country’s development and social life.
At the conclusion of the event, the faculty members and mahalla activists agreed to continue cooperation, conduct additional meetings, and implement educational projects aimed at increasing the political and legal awareness of the population.
