On November 5 of this year, a meeting was held at Kyonggi University in South Korea within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) and Kyonggi University.

During the meeting, Mehribon Abdurakhmanova, Head of the Department of Uzbek and Russian Languages at UWED, met with representatives of Kyonggi University’s International Relations Office and leading professors specializing in the Russian language.

 

The parties exchanged detailed information about the academic programs offered at Kyonggi University, approaches to language education and methodology, as well as the short- and long-term courses available in Russian and Uzbek languages.

The Korean partners expressed their strong interest in establishing close cooperation with UWED and announced their intention to visit Uzbekistan, including UWED, in May 2026.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of both higher education institutions exchanged commemorative gifts. The event took place in a friendly and cordial atmosphere, and both sides agreed to further strengthen their mutual partnership.
