On 6 November 2025, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office on Youth, Peace and Security, Santeri Leinonen, visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

During the visit, Leinonen held a meeting with UWED students aimed at deepening the dialogue on strengthening the positive, active and inclusive role of youth in efforts to ensure sustainable peace and security.

In particular, Mr. Leinonen shared the results of the OSCE Chairmanship Youth Forum held in Helsinki at the end of July 2025. The forum brought together young people from various countries in the OSCE region, including Uzbekistan, who contributed to the development of the Roadmap on “Youth, Peace and Security”, which will be announced under the Finnish Chairmanship.

He also shared Finland's experience in the field of youth cooperation and the process of preparing National Action Plans for the Roadmap, followed by an open exchange of views with students and members of university youth and diplomatic clubs on the role of youth in promoting peace, dialogue and mutual understanding.
