The Sports Club of University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) organized a chess tournament among the “Elobod,” “Buyuk Ipak Yo‘li,” “Olmachi,” and “Yangi Olmachi” mahallas. 

During the tournament, young participants and community elders showcased focus, strategic thinking, and strong logical skills. Winners were awarded commemorative gifts by the Sports Club.

By promoting active engagement through mind sports and strengthening university–community interaction, the initiative also aligns naturally with the SDG agenda, supporting well-being, inclusion, and local partnerships.
