Navoi State Scholarship

The Navoi State Scholarship is a prestigious named state scholarship awarded to talented bachelor's students who demonstrate excellent academic performance, participation in scientific or creative work, and strong achievements in their field of study.

Awarded to students studying in the last two years of bachelor's programmes, including students of joint educational programmes, in accordance with the official procedure.

Who Can Apply

Bachelor's students of UWED may apply if they meet official eligibility requirements. Candidates should demonstrate:

Excellent academic performance
Participation in scientific or creative work
Conference and competition participation
Knowledge of history of Uzbekistan
State language and one foreign language
Additional foreign language if applicable

Selection Process

Announcement

Official announcement is published through university information channels.

Submit to Dean's Office

Students submit documents to the relevant School Dean's Office within the internal deadline.

Preliminary Review

The School Dean's Office reviews documents and identifies eligible candidates.

Youth Affairs Office

Documents are forwarded to the Office for Youth Affairs.

University Review

Materials are reviewed and most suitable candidates selected.

Academic Council

Candidates are considered at the Academic Council meeting.

my.edu.uz Submission

Documents are uploaded to my.edu.uz between 1-15 August.

Ministry Review

The Ministry reviews documents from 10-30 September.

Expert Evaluation & Tests

Expert assessment and test examinations.

Final Decision

Final decision from September 1st.

Required Documents

  • Copy of academic transcript
  • Recommendation from Dean's Office and department
  • Recommendation from scientific or creative work supervisor
  • List of scientific works and printed copies
  • Certificates from language and history departments on interview results

All documents are submitted in a folder with cover indicating the scholarship name, candidate's full name, faculty, programme and year.

Assessment Criteria

Minimum passing threshold for the test stage: 55% of the maximum possible score.

Benefits

Named State Certificate

Recipients of the Navoi State Scholarship are awarded the certificate "Navoiy nomli davlat stipendiyasining sohibi".

Formal Award Ceremony

Certificates are presented in a formal ceremony at the student's place of study.

Direct Path to Master's Programme

Named scholarship recipients are admitted to a relevant master's programme within one year after graduation, without competition and on the basis of an additional state grant.
