    The Great Silk Road Summit was held at UWED

    On November 1, the Diplomatic Synergy Club at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the “Great Silk Road Summit”. The event brought together university faculty and students, along with representatives from approximately 10 higher education institutions from various regions of Uzbekistan.

    The summit featured in-depth discussions on contemporary global political dynamics, the historical and geopolitical significance of the Great Silk Road, new models of economic and diplomatic cooperation in Central Asia, and Uzbekistan’s strategic role in the modern geopolitical landscape.

    Discussions and debates were held in an atmosphere of intellectual engagement, open dialogue, and analytical reasoning. Participants presented their views on regional cooperation, transport and logistics diplomacy, cultural exchange, global trade corridors, and information connectivity.

    Key objectives of the summit:

    To analyze the historical-cultural heritage of the Great Silk Road in the context of current geopolitical developments;

    To foster diplomatic and analytical thinking among youth;

    To strengthen cooperation networks between higher education institutions;

    To encourage active participation of Uzbek youth in global cooperation processes.

    At the conclusion of the summit, participants outlined future plans to expand cooperation, support research-driven initiatives, and promote diplomatic culture among young people. The summit marked a new step toward strengthening regional dialogue and intellectual collaboration.
