    On October 20, 2025, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy held a master class on the topic “Gender Aspects in Ensuring Peace and Security” with the participation of fourth-year students of the Faculty of International Relations.

    As a guest of honor and keynote speaker, a specialist of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), an international expert on gender equality, Afghan scientist Freshta Qayumi spoke.

    As part of the event, Ms. Kayoumi delivered an informative lecture, in which she highlighted in detail the importance of gender aspects in international relations, as well as their role in promoting peace and strengthening global security. Particular attention was paid to the current situation in Afghanistan, in particular issues related to the situation of women and children, as well as the problems of ensuring gender equality in a volatile political environment.

    At the end of the master class, students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions, to which the speaker gave detailed and professional answers, based on her international experience and expert opinion.
