The Office for Youth Affairs of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy organized an information session for female students and staff in order to raise awareness in the field of health and draw attention to women's reproductive health issues. The event was held in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

Opening the session, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work of the UWED O. Yusupjanov emphasized the relevance of the initiative and said: “Every woman should take care of her health. Early detection of the disease is a chance to save not only health, but also life. Regular screenings and vaccinations are critical steps in protecting women”.

Representatives of the Women's Advisory Council of the University and the trade union took an active part in the session. Obstetrician-gynecologist of the highest category, expert of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Muhabbat Ahmadova noted: “Today's topic is vital for every woman, especially for young girls. Such events should be held not only in October, but throughout the year, because a healthy generation is the basis of a healthy society”. She also gave the participants important recommendations on disease prevention, the benefits of early diagnosis and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive personal consultations. At the end of the session, information materials were distributed and explanatory work on a healthy lifestyle was carried out. The event aroused great interest among students and employees of the university.
