    The leadership of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy constantly pays attention to the issues of students' lives, their social problems, safety and ensuring decent living conditions. For this purpose, meetings were organized with UWED students living in rented apartments in Tashkent, and targeted monitoring of their living conditions was carried out.

    This study was conducted under the leadership of the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work O. Yusupjanov with the participation of relevant departments and responsible employees. During the event, the general situation, living conditions, safety requirements, sanitary and hygienic condition, as well as the spiritual and psychological atmosphere in the rented apartments where students live were carefully studied.

    In the process of studying, open and sincere conversations were held with students, their opinions were listened to about everyday living conditions, problems related to rent, factors affecting the learning process, and social needs. The issues raised by the students were discussed on the spot, and appropriate recommendations were given for their solution.

    Explanatory work was also carried out on compliance with fire safety rules in rented apartments, the correct use of electrical and gas appliances, maintaining cleanliness in apartments, ensuring good neighborly relations, as well as compliance by students with internal regulations. In this regard, the importance of increasing the responsibility and legal culture of students was emphasized.

    First Vice-Rector O. Yusupjanov in his speech noted that the well-being, safety and education in a healthy environment of each student are priority tasks for the university administration, and stated that systematic work will continue on a constant dialogue with students, timely identification and elimination of their problems.

    This initiative will serve to improve the living conditions of students, strengthen their social protection, further increase their attitude to the educational process and improve the system of working with young people.  In the future, it is planned to regularly study the situation of students living in rented apartments and take targeted measures.
