    On October 8, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, an open master class was held for 4th-year students of the Faculty of International Relations within the framework of the course “Environmental Policy.” The session was conducted by I. Gulomov, Head of the Department for Environmental Education, Scientific Research, and the Implementation of Innovations at the Ministry of Ecology.

    In his lecture, Mr. Gulomov provided detailed information about the structure and activities of the Ministry of Ecology, explaining the functions of its departments and divisions. He also elaborated on the ongoing reforms and innovations in the field of ecology in Uzbekistan.

    Additionally, he spoke about environmental policy, areas of cooperation, the unique features of the “Yashil makon” policy, various “green” initiatives, mechanisms for waste recycling, cooperation with neighboring countries, as well as the challenges and opportunities in implementing eco-strategies.

    Drawing on his extensive professional experience, Mr. Gulomov emphasized the practical significance of the knowledge gained in the “Environmental Policy” course and demonstrated how it is applied in real environmental policymaking.

    This meeting gave students the opportunity to enrich their theoretical knowledge with practical examples, ask questions of interest, and receive professional answers. Such events contribute to strengthening the university’s cooperation with government institutions and play an important role in enhancing the professional training of future specialists in the field of international relations.
