On October 15 of this year, an open lecture for students on the topic “AI and Industry 4.0: The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Digital Diplomacy” was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy as part of the course “Modern International Relations, World Economy and Interests of Uzbekistan”. The speaker was Sarvarbek Sadullayev, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence of the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

The lecture focused on the role of artificial intelligence and technology in digital transformation, strengthening digital diplomacy and developing the knowledge economy in Uzbekistan. Sadullaev spoke about government initiatives and projects, from the creation of AI infrastructure (including a supercomputer and 86 initiatives in 2025-2026) to training programs and the development of a startup ecosystem.

The speaker shared his experience on the practical application of AI in healthcare, energy and public administration, on the requirements for young specialists, and internship opportunities.

At the end of the speech, a Q&A session was held. Students asked questions, to which S. Sadullayev gave detailed answers, shared career recommendations and invited young professionals to connect to educational platforms and acceleration programs.
