From September 3 to September 5, 2025, the international conference "NIC Uzbekistan Conference 2025" was held in Tashkent. The event was organized by the NUS Medicine International Council (NIC).

The conference was devoted to global challenges in the field of geopolitics, economics, technology and medicine, with a special emphasis on the role of Uzbekistan and Central Asia. The following thematic blocks worked within the framework of the event:

Geopolitics and International Relations: Participants discussed shifts in the global balance of power, the role of Eurasia as a bridge between East and West, and Uzbekistan's diplomatic and investment strategies.

Economy and Business: The focus was on the analysis of the investment climate, economic reforms and regional integration processes in Central Asia.

Medicine and technology: Experts presented breakthrough achievements in the field of genomics and cell therapy, as well as touched on the ethical aspects of modern medical research.

The conference was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Sodyq Safoev. At the panel session “From the Silk Road to the World Stage: Connecting East and West in a Multipolar Era”, he made a presentation in which he emphasized the prospects for Uzbekistan's foreign policy and legislative diplomacy.

The conference has become an important platform for dialogue between opinion leaders in politics, economics and science.
