On May 8 of this year, the Department of Civil Law and International Private Law Disciplines held a republican scientific and practical conference on the topic of "Current Issues of Protecting the Rights of Business Entities" at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The conference was attended by scientists, legal practitioners, lawyers, representatives of state bodies, including judicial bodies, in particular, judges of Tashkent City Court, Civil Court and the Administrative Court, representatives of the Agency for State Assets Management of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, professors of Tashkent State University of Law and others.

The conference discussed such important issues as protecting the rights of business entities in economic courts, civil courts and administrative courts, protecting the rights of entrepreneurs to intellectual property, the role of contracts in protecting the rights of entrepreneurs, legal aspects of resolving conflicts between an entrepreneur and a consumer, and others.

The conference became a platform for the exchange of opinions between scientists, legal practitioners, judges and lawyers on issues and problems related to the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of entrepreneurs in the conditions of modern Uzbekistan, which hinder the development of entrepreneurship, and allowed developing proposals to improve the system of protecting the rights of business entities in order to create a healthy and effective business environment in the country.

Thus, the conference became an important event not only in the scientific life of the University of World Economy, but also of the entire republic, and was another step towards building a state and society with a highly developed market economy and a strong legal system.
