UWED students took part in an open court session of the Tashkent City Administrative Court

On May 5-7 of this year, at the initiative of the teaching staff of the Department of International Law and Public Law Sciences of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, a meeting was organized for 2nd year students of the Faculty of International Law with judges of the Tashkent City Administrative Court S. Talipov, M. Makhmudov, T. Salimov, B. Kholmonov, D. Toshev and O. Khakimov.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that the primary task of administrative courts is to ensure the rule of law in the relations of citizens and business entities with state bodies, as well as the effective protection of their rights and legitimate interests. Information was also provided on the role of judges, the administration of justice, the immunity of judges and their powers.
In addition, students took part in open court sessions of the Administrative Court of Tashkent. During the event, the judges answered in detail numerous questions asked by students. The judges also checked and assessed the level of knowledge of students in the discipline "Administrative Law" through questions and answers.
At the end of the meeting, UWED students and teachers expressed their sincere gratitude to the judges of the Tashkent City Court and made a proposal to hold such meetings more often and regularly.
