    On April 28 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy held an educational seminar on the topic: “The use of interactive methods of teaching foreign languages in order to improve the quality of education”.

    It was attended by representatives of the Department of Romano-Germanic Languages and the teacher of the German language of secondary school No 112 of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent K.K. Istamov.

    Within the framework of the educational and methodological seminar, interactive methods of teaching foreign languages were proposed and discussed.

    Of particular interest were the methods of developing and expanding the skills of oral and written speech, reading. During the seminar, attention was paid to the problems of individual work, work in pairs, in threes, groups; “brainstorming” or “brainstorming”, as well as the organization of educational discussions (round table); Debate; creative tasks; Cluster.

    These methods contribute to increasing the motivation of students and give a greater effect when combined with comprehensive training, including topical issues in the achievements and implementation of such Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as “Quality Education. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”.

    The participants of the seminar had the opportunity to exchange views and experience in the study of socio-political processes, economy and culture.
