    On February 26 of this year, in Secondary School No. 8, located on the territory of the citizens' assembly of the “Ikbol mahalla”in Tashkent district, the UWED Language Education Center, together with the school administration and mahallas, organized a round table on the topics "Meeting of Three Generations" and "My Profession is My Pride".

    During the conversation, veterans and elders of mahalla talked about their life path, shared the difficulties and successes achieved thanks to their chosen professions, work experience, and also gave advice to young people on finding their worthy place in life.

    The head of the UWED Language Education Center L. Khodjaev acquainted graduates with the activities of the university, its specializations, and the favorable conditions created for learning. He also said that students who successfully complete their studies will have the opportunity to work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country, other ministries and departments, private companies, embassies of foreign states and representative offices of international and regional organizations accredited in Uzbekistan.

    The participants of the event were also informed about the content and essence of the meeting of the President of our country Shavkat Mirziyoyev with young people, which took place via videoconference on February 14 this year. It was emphasized that ensuring youth employment, as well as creating conditions for the education and self-realization of women, is a priority policy of our state. In particular, it was noted that the number of girls studying at universities has increased 11 times due to the state covering the costs of their contracts.

    At the end of the meeting, answers were given to various questions of interest to high school students, and an agreement was reached to organize such a dialogue on a regular basis.
