The University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a business forum for businesswomen of Uzbekistan and Poland
On 20th September of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the business forum for businesswomen of Uzbekistan and Poland.
The forum, which was held in online and offline formats, was attended by deputies of the Oliy Majlis, heads of ministries, departments and organizations of Uzbekistan, representatives of international organizations, employees of the Committee of Family and Women, Deputy Chairmen of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokims of regions and Tashkent city, responsible employees of interested departments and organizations of the regions, as well as faculty, doctoral students, masters and students of the UWED.
The representative delegation of Poland was headed by State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland Bozhena Zhelazowska, Chairman of the Association of the League of Polish Women Aldona Michalyak, Deputy Chairman of the Association of the League of Polish Women Sylvia Ruzitska.
The forum was opened by the chairman of the Committee of Family and Women of Uzbekistan Ozoda Parpibayeva.
The participants of the event discussed issues of support and promotion of women's entrepreneurship, problems awaiting solution, opportunities to attract foreign investment, and the growing role of women entrepreneurs in the country's economy.
The event at UWED took place within the framework of the Week of Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland that has begun.
