On October 30 of this year, Secondary School No. 35 in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent hosted a high-level meeting dedicated to spiritual, educational, and creative development, organized under the “Ma’rifat Ulashib” project.
The event was held in collaboration with the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, and Secondary School No. 35. It aimed to foster a culture of reading among the younger generation, stimulate their interest in science and literature, and provide guidance on choosing a suitable profession.
The event opened with an introductory address by Mukaddas Sharipova, director of Secondary School No. 35. In her remarks, she emphasized the unparalleled role of books and education in enhancing the spiritual growth of young people, noting that such meetings—organized in partnership with representatives from higher education institutions and creative professionals—serve as a vital foundation for the students' future.
Among the invited guests, Shodi Atamurod—a member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, poet, journalist, and translator—spoke to the students about the importance of literature in shaping the human psyche and worldview. She discussed the benefits of reading fiction and shared insights into the nature of creative thinking. Drawing on her own life and professional experience, she encouraged the students to remain curious and to live in harmony with books.

He provided a detailed overview of contemporary educational opportunities, the process of preparing for university admission, and the current requirements within the field of international law. Abbosjon Nasimjonov, a course coordinator for the Faculty of International Law at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, also shared valuable advice with the students regarding the university learning process, campus life, and key factors to consider when taking the first steps into adulthood.
During the event, the students received detailed answers to their questions from industry experts and creative professionals. The discussion, which took place in an open and sincere atmosphere, provided the young people with significant motivation for choosing their future careers and preparing thoroughly for higher education.
In closing, the organizers and guests agreed to continue their collaboration on similar educational projects in the future.
