On 16 September of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted an introductory ceremony of the “Zakovat” intellectual club for first-year students.

The event was opened by the club coordinator, M. Abduraxmanova. In her speech, she spoke about the goals and objectives of the “Zakovat” club, its main areas of activity, and the intellectual competitions held among students. She also emphasized that such games play an important role in broadening young people's worldview, developing logical and critical thinking, and building the skills of quick decision-making and teamwork.

One of the key moments of the event was the change of the club's leadership. The club captain for the 2025–2026 academic year officially handed over their duties to the new club captain. The former captain spoke about the work carried out and the results achieved over the past academic year, as well as memorable moments in the club's life, and wished the new captain success in their future work.

During the ceremony, the students became closely acquainted with the club's activities, membership procedure, and rules of the game.

At the end of the event, first-year students received detailed answers to their questions. The question-and-answer session was held in a spirit of open and friendly dialogue.

The ceremony gave a strong start to the club's activities in the new academic year and further increased the students' interest in intellectual games.
