UWED Hosts Delegation of Shanghai International Studies University

The University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) welcomed a delegation from one of the leading higher education institutions of the People's Republic of China — Shanghai International Studies University (SISU).

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for further strengthening academic and research cooperation between UWED and SISU.

Representatives of SISU presented the university's key areas of activity, achievements in education and research, as well as its experience in international cooperation, expressing strong interest in expanding long-term and mutually beneficial partnership with UWED. In turn, representatives of UWED introduced the university's priority areas of international cooperation, modern educational programs, and research activities.

The discussions focused on opportunities for student and faculty exchange, the implementation of joint research projects, the organization of international conferences and seminars, as well as the development of cooperation between the research institutes of the two universities.

In addition, the UWED Executive Education Center presented proposals for joint implementation of professional development and corporate education programs, and the parties explored prospects for cooperation in this area.

The meeting marked another important step toward strengthening the strategic partnership between UWED and SISU, expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in education and science, and launching new joint initiatives.
